Near Eastside Neighborhood Project Proposal

In partnership with the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, the IUPUI Solution Center has launched the IUPUI Near Eastside Legacy Initiative (NELI), which is designed to increase awareness of and activity in the Chase Near Eastside Legacy Center, as well as to promote health, wellness, and education programming in the community.  Through targeted communication and public health awareness strategies, the Solution Center will engage the IUPUI community in Near Eastside efforts that reflect Near Eastside community values and quality of life priorities.

Using this form, Near Eastside residents, community leaders, nonprofit leaders, and service providers are invited to propose projects and request assistance for programs that meet the overarching goals for public health and well being. In addition, organizations can propose the creation of a website or updates to an existing website.

If awarded, recipients will receive financial support and the assistance of IUPUI students, faculty, staff, and volunteers to plan and implement activities that meet community priorities for quality of life on the Near Eastside.
